Ninja BL740 Review: Overview of features

This is not a small appliance. The dimensions are 7.2 x 9 x 17 inches, and the weight is 7.11 pounds. However, it is pretty tall, so you may have trouble finding a place in the cabinets.

Of course, you can leave it on the kitchen countertop, and you will not be ashamed because this is an excellent-looking device. It is plastic all around but not cheap, so the overall impression of build quality is good.

It has some excellent features to make save room, like an opening in the back of the base that you can push the cord into. But, unfortunately, it’s small to fit the entire cable, and the line doesn’t go in very quickly.

You will like

Powerful motor. 1100 Watts are pretty sufficient to grind, crush, and pulverize anything you can think of and want to eat.

It will crush ice and frozen food in no time. Keep in mind that blending frozen foods will make a lot of noise.

BPA free. All the parts that come into contact with food are made from materials containing very harmful Bisphenol-A.

That is especially important if you are planning to use it for making baby food.

Easy to use and clean. No needless buttons or functions, It has 3-speed settings for different types of food, which is all you need.

No need to cut food into small pieces, so that will save you some time. All parts, except the base, are dishwasher safe, so the cleaning part is also taken care of.

Large Pitcher and 2 single-serve juice cups with lids. After making your smoothie, you can take it with you or keep it in the refrigerator.

Single-serve cups are also necessary because some combinations of ingredients get better mixed in the small cups.

You may not like

Sensitive lid for the Pitcher. If you are not careful and use force, it might break, and replacing just the lid is impossible. Instead, you have to buy the whole Pitcher.

Uneven performance. With some food combinations, you might need to use small juice cups instead of a large pitcher. They provide better consistency for smoothies.

The noise. Some users report that it can be loud, especially when crushing ice or frozen food. Fortunately, it doesn’t last long because the blender is fast.

This juicer has a significant advantage over FreshVac Technology. FreshVac Pump is designed to preserve vitamins, flavors, and colors by removing oxygen before blending.

The downside is that it is not an automatic process. You will have to use the pump and then blend manually. On the other hand, this blender has an Auto-IQ selection of programs for specific types of food and an 1100 Watts motor. Besides the motor, the price is also similar.

The drawback is the lack of a large pitcher. Instead, you will receive only a 24 oz—Single-Serve cup with a lid.
